Join Our Yahoo Group
What is it?
It
is a online discussion forum open to members and families of Troop 176
only. We use this forum to post important announcements. This can
include things like upcoming events, outings, call for action, call for
volunteers, reminders, etc. etc. This forum also allows our group to
post files and pictures.
Why should you join?
By
joining your Troop's Yahoo group, you will stay connected with the rest
of us. You will be informed about important announcemts and you can
also search the archives for older news and announcements. In addition,
you can also communicate with the rest of the troop by posting a
message.
How do you join?
There are three ways to join a yahoo mailing list.
1. Enter your email address into the green box at the top of the page entitled "Subscribe to the Troop 176 Yahoo Group." Then click "Join Now."
2. If you already have a Yahoo ID, log in to you your Yahoo account.
Once you're signed in with your YahooID follow this link:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/fremont_troop176. On this page,
click on the "Join This Group!" button
in the upper-right side of the window. Fill out the neccesary
information. Once you complete this step, you request to join the Group
will be sent to the Troop 176 Yahoo Group moderator. He/She will verify
that you are a member of the Troop. Be sure to include your real name
in the "Comment to Owner" box, so that the moderator knows who you are.
As the group is closed to only those in Troop 176, it's important
that we compare your name and email with the troop records.
3. Another method would be to simply send an email to fremont_troop176-subscribe@yahoogroups.com from the account that you want to join to the list so that the moderator can check your name and
email with the troop records.
To perform the following actions, send an email (from an account that has been verified to join our Yahoo Group) as follows:
